Dr. Jennifer Schoedler D.V.M.
Dr. Schoedler attended Colorado State University, to study Biological Sciences. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from CSU in 1998. Since then, she has worked as a small animal veterinarian in Durango, Colorado. She has owned and operated Alpine Animal Hospital since 2002. She believes the most important factor to any endeavor in life is attitude.

Dr. Bill Rohn D.V.M.
Dr. Rohn graduated from Michigan State in 1993. After graduation he spent 12 years practicing in Chapel Hill and Wilmington, North Carolina. Dr. Rohn and his wife Nicole moved here to Durango, with their four children, Hannah, Lena, Alex and Sebastian. He is an avid hockey player and enjoys a wide range of sports.
Dr. Katie Barrowclough D.V.M.
Dr. Barrowclough worked at Alpine Animal Hospital as support staff before she became a veterinarian. She obtained her bachelor?s degree from Fort Lewis College and her DVM from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN in 2013. After vet school, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital & Referral Center in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Barrowclough then worked at a busy small animal clinic in California before moving back to her home in Durango. When not at the clinic, she can be found on the river, in the mountains or in the backyard with her family.
I like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, I'm not into yoga, and I have a whole brain. Rita has worked as a technician since 1992. She enjoys skiing, being on the river and outdoor activities. She shares her home with cats, dogs, snakes, and fish.
Alia Strong C.V.T.
Alia is 100% Colorado grown. After graduating from Lewis and Clark in 2009 with a BA in music, she realized she needed to go back to school. In May 2016 she graduated from the Colorado Mountain College Veterinary Technician program. She has 2 dogs, a cat, chickens, bees and a husband. In her free time she likes to play hockey, run around in the mountains, rivers and rain, but is scared of lightning.
Malonie joined us in April of 2017, returing from the deep south with a song in her heart and a heavey horse. Originally from Pagosa Springs, Malonie has a great love for the mountains and animals of every kind. When not helping with the animal's care she doubles as our IT person. She is an avid Harry Potter fan.
Megan joined our pack in February 2015. She was born and raised in Durango on the family farm. She enjoys working with the animals and getting to know the clients. She loves camping and hiking and taking photographs of the mountians with her husband and 3 daughters.
