Routine or Complex
Surgical care for dogs and cats.
We hold a high standard for patient care, especially when it comes to surgical procedures. We are experienced in soft tissue surgeries including spays, neuters, and mass removals. We also address conditions like gastrointestinal foreign bodies, bladder stones, and laceration repairs. Additionally, we perform biopsies to guide medical and surgical treatments. Modern veterinary medicine has seen an increase in veterinary specialties, which allows us to offer more advanced or technical surgeries at specialty hospitals.
With all surgeries we perform preoperative lab work for patient safety. Patients are given sedative and anti-nausea medications before anesthesia. Intravenous catheters are placed for fluid and anesthesia support. Our highly trained surgical techs perform extensive monitoring during the procedures including continuous electrocardiogram, doppler blood pressure, pulse oxygenation, temperature, anesthesia level, hydration and patient comfort. Pain control with local blocks and multimodal pain medications are used to ensure your pet is pain free. Patients are closely monitored after surgery before discharge. This comprehensive approach prioritizes patient safety, comfort, and recovery.
